Verget Pouilly-Fuissé 'Les Grands Terroirs Oubliés' 2022

In 1976, Jean-Marie Guffens – AKA ‘the crazy Belgian’ – moved to Burgundy with his wife Maine Heynen and purchased Mâcon-Pierreclos, a vineyard no one wanted because it was too steep. Later in the 1990s, they established Verget as a négociant arm. These are Mâconnais wines of the highest order, from a modern day master.
