Standard Delivery (Mainland UK)

Shrine to the Vine offers free nationwide delivery to most of the mainland UK on orders over £200. For orders under £200, we charge £10.95 per address.

Orders are despatched on a next-day service where possible, but please note that deliveries can take up to 3 working days to arrive. Orders placed after 2pm or on a weekend/bank holiday are processed on the next working day.

Delivery outside of the mainland UK can take longer and costs more:

Same-day Delivery (central London)

Shrine to the Vine offers same-day delivery to most of the central London area. Same-day delivery is usually available Monday-Saturday (9am-6pm). Please get in touch with us on 0207 183 4380 or via for same-day deliveries outside of the above locations.

Delivery to duty paid reserves or storage

Purchases can be sent to your duty paid reserves storage or onto an overseas shipper. Please mark any relevant delivery information clearly on checkout or in an email to Any additional delivery costs or re-routing fees will be at your expense.

Signatures & proof of age

Deliveries may require a signature. Deliveries asked to be left without a signature are at the customer’s risk. We refuse to sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order with us you confirm that you or the recipient is at least 18 years of age and we and our couriers reserve the right to ask for a form of ID or to not deliver the goods if unsure about the recipient’s age.


Orders can be collected from 48 Lamb’s Conduit St. We will email you once your order is ready for collection, which is usually the same day. We reserve the right to refund any orders not collected within 31 days and return items into stock. If you would like to collect from 27 Broadway Market, please mark this clearly in the notes at checkout (N.B. to can take 3-to-5 working days to transfer the stock).

Damaged or missing orders

Please get in touch with us as soon as possible on 0207 183 4380 or via if there are any discrepancies or problems with your order. 


We're happy to take back any bottles that are still in perfect condition up to 30 days from the date ordered. Please get in touch with us via to start the returns process. All charges (minus the original delivery cost) will be refunded upon our receipt of the goods in their original condition of sale. The cost of returning the order is at your expense. Risk remains with the buyer until the wines are re-delivered to us. 

Corked or out of condition bottles

If you suspect a wine is out of condition, reseal the bottle and contact us ASAP via We may need to arrange collection of any suspected out of condition bottles for analysis. Faulty wines will be refunded, credited or replaced, subject to availability. Please note that we can only offer refunds, credit or replacements up to six months from the original purchase date, providing the bottles have been properly stored. 

With respect to older wines, we will make reasonable efforts to verify the provenance of such wines but we cannot guarantee the authenticity or quality of the wine in the bottle. Older products may age and mature in different ways which may not be to all tastes, and some wines may deteriorate in quality. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund, credit or replace mature wine over 10 years of age and these bottles are ‘sold as seen'.
