Rhône

The Rhône Valley is located between Lyon and the south coast of France. The north is famous for its sensational, smoky Syrahs and opulent whites made from Viognier; the south for red blends made from Grenache, Mouvèdre and a host of other red grapes, and luxurious white blends made from Marsanne, Roussanne and others. These classic wines have a particular affinity for the region’s hearty foods.
