In the 18th century, the Marquis de Ségur owned some of Bordeaux’s most renowned Châteaux. “I make wine at Lafite and Latour, but my heart is at Calon”, he said. The Calon Ségur label still carries a heart, and the wines are still loved by aficionados of classic claret.
