The Wittmann family has grown wine in Westhofen since 1663, and few have done more to cement Rheinhessen's reputation for world-class dry Riesling. Philipp Wittmann farms four Grand Cru sites biodynamically, but '100 Hills' is different. Made with fruit from Wittmann's own organic vineyards plus some neighbouring growers, it offers much of the magic of their top wines at a fraction of the price. It's a textbook dry Riesling from an exceptional, historic grower.
