In a region known for highly extracted wines, star sommelier-turned-winemaker Terry Kandylis pursues the complete opposite, drawing on Burgundian techniques to showcase the quality of his old vine Ribera del Duero fruit. In addition to his excellent ‘village’ wines, Terry crafts six site-specific cuvées in tiny volume that are on their way to becoming Ribera fine wine benchmarks. In this tasting, Terry will present a selection of his wines alongside regional classics from Dominio del Aguila, Vega Sicilia and Pingus.
