Going against current notions that the greatest Champagne is made from a single vintage and vineyard, L’Etonnant Monsieur Victor is a blend of both, made with no compromises. Selected vats dating back to 1988, as well as the best wines from the latest harvest of Pierre Péters' renowned Champagne Chétillon, are blended in roughly equal quantities before bottling. The wine is aged in bottle for a further six years. The edition number indicates the base year.
