Hirsch Vineyards 'Bohan-Dillon' Pinot Noir 2023

In 1978 David Hirsch bought an old sheep ranch on a wild, isolated coastal ridge in Northern California. A garment maker by trade, he’d come to love Burgundy during frequent trips to France, and planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay across his land’s many unique plots, each shaped by the geological upheaval of the nearby San Andreas Fault.

Until the early 2000s, the fruit was sold to producers including Littorai, Williams Selyem, Kistler, and Failla, whose Hirsch Vineyard bottlings became legendary. In 2002, David built a winery and began bottling under his own label. The estate is now run by his daughter Jasmine, and Hirsch’s dazzling range of cuvées have earned a deserved reputation as some Sonoma’s finest, most Burgundian wines.
