Father and son Alain & Jérôme Lenoir’s cult Chinon domaine produces some of the rarest and most majestic Cabernet Francs known to man. From exceptional, centenarian vineyards – some of them own-rooted – in Beaumont-en-Véron which have been farmed organically since the early 1900s, Lenoir’s sole wine is only released periodically after long elevage in the family’s 15th century chalk cellars. It's beautifully fragrant, with pure red fruit and a weightlessness (not to mention durability) that so little Chinon achieves. Noble Rot Mayfair’s head sommelier Ben Thomas will showcase vintages stretching back to 1979.
