The sleepy region of Gascony – a short drive south of Bordeaux – can offer hidden vinous treasures. As in Bordeaux, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (for reds) and Sauvignon and Sémillon (for whites) make up a large part of the wine blends here, but the more southerly grapes Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Gros Manseng come together in this citrussy, herbal white from biodynamic producer, Domaine Entras.
