Nobody knows Jura wine like Stéphane Tissot. Spending time in the vineyards with him is a masterclass in the region’s terroir. Since taking over the family domaine in the 1990s, Stéphane hasn’t stopped innovating, and the Tissot wines are some of the Jura’s purest and most distinct expressions of their local grapes. We’re thrilled to offer our latest allocation direct from the domaine’s cellars.
Winos love the Jura for its mouthwatering, Burgundy-inspired whites, as well as its more esoteric offerings. Tissot’s wines cover the spectrum of styles, from the single vineyard Chardonnays that first made his reputation, to celebrated reds made from Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir, as well as his many innovations - terroir-specific Vin Jaunes, amphorae-fermented reds and a range of remarkable sweet wines. Whatever the style, terroir is paramount. Each wine reveals the unique character of its vineyard, which are all farmed biodynamically and with meticulous care.
