Vocoret Chablis Grand Cru 'Blanchot' 2023

After meeting while working at a winery in New Zealand, Eleni & Edouard Vocoret returned to Edouard's native Chablis to establish a domaine that has become one of the best of the region's exciting new generation. Following in the footsteps of local legends Dauvissat and Raveneau, the Vocorets practice regenerative farming, wild yeast fermentations and ageing in old oak barrels. The result is Chablis that combines classic minerality with a weight and complexity only found in the region's top wines.

Thanks to Edouard inheriting a number of vineyard parcels from his parents, Vocoret's wines now include several Premier and Grand Crus. Most producers in the region blend their village-level plots together, but Vocoret’s are separated into single-parcel Chardonnays that express a real sense of place. Together with the higher level wines with their depth and detail, they make for an outstanding range that no Chablis lover should miss.
