Ever wondered how Noble Rot Restaurants served a top-drawer Grower Champagne as their house fizz at affordable prices? You need Michel Gonet in your life.
The Gonets have been producing wine in Champagne since 1802. Today they farm 40ha, mostly around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, arguably the most important Grand Cru village of the Côte des Blancs. Here they produce two vintage Blanc des Blancs, one of which is ‘3 Terroirs’ - an elegant, toasty blend of Chardonnay from three sites which spends 5 years on its lees, which contributes to its creamy texture and a toasted hazelnut finish. 4g/l dosage.
