René Lamy Bourgogne Blanc 2019

Named after René Lamy – brother of Hubert in Saint-Aubin – this 15ha property is now run by Sébastien Caillat and Florence Lamy (also of Chassagne-Montrachet's heralded Domaine Lamy-Caillat). Sébastien has fine-tuned many aspects of the work in the vineyards and the cellar here – farming is now organic, grapes are harvested by hand, and fermentations gentle. It's getting hard to find classy Bourgogne Blanc at this price point, so this textural and apple-rich white Burgundy is a most welcome arrival!
