‘Vin de Jardin’ (VDJ) is Domaine de Galouchey's two-fingered riposte to the 'Vins de Garage' moniker given to so many small Saint Emilion estates in the 1990s – a fuck you to identikit Claret and Bordeaux's new corporate affectations. This blend of all nine permitted grape varieties (white and red) of the region is silken and pleasingly fruit-forward, but still deliciously fresh.
