Drink six brilliant wines featured in the new Noble Rot Magazine with one of these cases:

Domaine Overnoy-Crinquand Crémant du Jura NV
Overnoy-Crinquand is a Jura domaine as they used to be: an organic farm focused as much on producing milk for Comté cheese as grapes for wine. While his brother Romaric is in charge of the cows, fourth generation winemaker Mickaël Crinquand tends to the vines. This crémant is a gentle, textural wine made entirely from Chardonnay and given 36 months of lees contact.

Cellier Saint Benoît Chardonnay 'Courbes Raies' 2022
Aged just 23, Benjamin Benoit took over his family domaine when his father unexpectedly passed away. That was in 2019. In the short time since, Cellier Saint Benoît has become one of the most exciting, in demand producers in Jura. One of a new wave of growers introducing Burgundian ideas, Benoit makes vineyard-specific wines in a topped up style, and has brought in regenerative farming techniques. Courbes Raies is a beautifully ripe wine with herbal freshness and racy acidity.

Tissot 'DD' 2022
Time spent in the vineyard with Stéphane Tissot is a masterclass in Jura terroir. From a patchwork of sub-alpine soils, Stéphane crafts some of the region’s purest and most distinctive expressions of Jura’s grape varieties and myriad wine styles. ‘DD’ is a silky blend of local varieties Trousseau and Poulsard, with some Pinot Noir.

Philippe Viet Régnié Haute-Ronze 'Mosaïque' 2023
Beaujolais’ transformation into one of the world’s most dynamic regions has inspired a legion of young winemakers. After tasting the wines of low-intervention pioneers Jean Foillard and Yvon Métras, Philippe Viet left behind his corporate IT job in Paris to make joyful and utterly delicious Cru Beaujolais. Grown at 500m on Régnié’s granite-rich soils and aged in a combination of amphorae and stainless steel, ‘Mosaïque’ is a generous, silky wine packed with brambly fruit.

Domaine du Coulet 'No Wine's Land' 2022
Matthieu Barret’s effortless and elegant wines are among the best in Cornas. An evangelist for natural winemaking, he aims to emphasise the purity of his Syrah through full destemming, gentle extractions, wild yeast fermentation, and zero new oak. ‘No Wine’s Land’ comes from the small area between Cornas and Saint-Joseph. Entitled only to the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation (and so coming in at half the price of the Cornas) it offers much of the same clarity, energy and dark, juicy fruit.

Combel La Serre 'Les Peyres Levades' 2020
Julien Ilbert is bringing a fresh perspective to his native Cahors. With organic farming, traditional winemaking and a Burgundy-inspired approach that differentiates the best vineyards, he makes a dazzling range of site-specific Malbecs. Unlike many of his neighbours, Julien has resisted the temptation to turn to international grape varieties, instead focusing all of his efforts on the Malbec vines planted by his grandparents 50 years ago. ‘Les Peyres Levades’ is from one of the best sites, its Kimmeridgian limestone soils yielding an elegant, linear wine of great finesse.
