Drink three brilliant wines featured in the new Noble Rot Magazine, with one of these limited edition selections. Featuring:

Pierre Weber 3. Le Orange 2022
Gewürztraminer, but not as you know it. Pierre Weber returned to his native Alsace a few years ago to work the vines that used to belong to his grandfather. From a high altitude site in Husseren-les-Châteaux, this bright orange-pink wine has a subtle prickle of volatile acidity to lift its intense mandarin and apricot fruit. It finishes bone dry with a delicate bitter-amaro edge.
(The Vine Twitcher, pp.14-19)

Sylvain Pataille Marsannay Rosé 'Fleur de Pinot' 2022
With his distinctive blue labels and equally characterful wines, no one has done more than Sylvain Pataille for the reputation of Marsannay. A trained oenologist who consults for other elite Burgundian domaines, Pataille produces delicious, accessible Burgundy using biodynamic fruit, indigenous yeasts and minimal added sulphur. This is a deeply flavoured, savoury rosé.
(Fuelling the Dyer, pp.28-39)

Levet Côte-Rôtie 'La Peroline' 2012
By the 1960s most of Côte-Rôtie lay abandoned: with no one willing to do back-breaking work on the terraces, winemakers turned to farming apricots beneath the slopes. Now the wines of old school producers like Levet are once again rightly revered. Agnès Levet meticulously tends 3.5ha of Syrah – dispersed between six old-vine lieux-dits. A delicate approach in the winery results in enticing floral aromatics, mineral-accented black fruit, and peppery spice built around a structure for long ageing.
(Sun. Sweat. Syrah. pp.48-59)
