Pepe Raventós is the closest thing Catalonia has to vinous royalty. Perched high on a 600m hill, his estate Can Sumoi boasts 20ha of old vines and is at the vanguard of biodynamic farming in Spain. Delicately perfumed but with a distinctly Mediterranean character, La Rosa has that rare combination of elegance as well as flavour. All hail Pepe, the new king of rosé.
