Romain Taupenot and his sister Virginie are the seventh generation of their family tending vineyards around Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Chambolle-Musigny, and are some of the few growers with vines in both Grands Crus Charmes-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin. Farming has been organic here since Romain took the reins in 2002.
