San Barnaba is a new estate in Serralunga d’Alba. It’s tiny, with no website or social media, but in just a few vintages it’s become one of the Langhe’s most talked about projects. Brothers Roberto and Giovanni Pasquero set it up, recruiting Francesco Rocca, their friend and the son of Barbaresco producer Bruno Rocca, to make the wines. The range runs from Nebbiolo to rarities like Verduno Pelaverga and Timorasso, all made with a thoughtful, hands-off approach.
