Patrick Piuze

In 2000, Quebec-born Patrick Piuze started a one-month internship at Olivier Leflaive’s Chablis-based négociant thinking he might soon return to his wine bar in Montreal. Twenty-two vintages later and Patrick is still in Burgundy, making his name with a stunning array of Chablis lieu-dit bottlings. Having worked with Jean-Marie Guffens of Verget and later as cellar master for Jean-Marc Brocard, Patrick established his own négociant operation in 2008, tapping his close connections to source exemplary fruit from across Chablis, including eleven 1er Crus and six Grand Crus – many of which are farmed by shareholders in his domaine.
