Since 1991, fourth-generation Jean-Marc Pillot has managed this starry domaine on his branch of the extended Chassagne-Montrachet winemaking family. Jean-Marc farms 11ha of vines mostly around Chassagne, including some of the appellation’s 1er Cru jewels, as well as some exceptionally old vines in the ‘Clos Saint-Marc’ lieu-dit within ‘Vergers’. While his reputation lies with his refined and well-proportioned white Burgundies, Jean-Marc is one of the few vignerons in the village to still produce 50% red wine.
