Guyon

“Live happy, live hidden” is Jean-Pierre Guyon’s motto. Overlooked until recently, even by Burgundy enthusiasts, Guyon has been quietly making some of the Côte de Beaune’s most sumptuous reds hidden in plain sight.

Based in Vosne-Romanée, Jean-Pierre organically farms six hectares, including the prestigious Echézeaux and Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru vineyards. However, his wines from Savigny prove the potential of this underrated Côte de Beaune village, not to mention his own unsung talent.

Guyon’s wines are classical and terroir-driven Pinot Noirs, perfumed and velvet-textured with a suave, savoury edge.
