Didier Dagueneau

“The wild man of Pouilly”, “the Pope of Sauvignon”, an iconoclast, a maverick, a magician – Didier Dagueneau is much missed since his untimely death in 2008. But his family domaine lives on to produce some of the world’s most transcendent, singular Sauvignon Blanc.

Louis-Benjamin continues to champion his father’s pioneering techniques and obsession with using low yields of hand-harvested, fully ripe fruit to produce ageworthy, Grand Cru-level wines.

Demand for Dagueneau has never been higher: heavily allocated and steadily rising in price with each new release.
