Amélie Berthaut has quickly risen to become one of Burgundy’s new stars, having taken over her family’s humble Fixin domaine in 2013 at just twenty-five after working in Bordeaux, Napa, and New Zealand. Assisted in the vineyards by her talented husband, Nicolas Faure, Amélie uses short macerations and partial whole cluster fermentations in the winery to craft beautifully expressive wines from single sites around Fixin, as well as top holdings in Vosne-Romanée and Clos Vougeot.
