Szolo 'Puro II' 2019

Born and raised in Hungary’s Tokaj region to a family of winemakers, Tímea Éless was destined to take over grandfather’s vineyard. From 2013, she introduced organic farming and gradually purchased plots surrounding the 0.3ha estate – with its state-of-the-art cellar run using renewable energy, Szóló is one of the most innovative boutique wineries in Hungary today. A blend of Furmint and Hárselevü aged in old oak and ceramic eggs for 11 months, ‘Puro II’ is refined and textural, showing white peach and gunflint minerality.
