Philippe Viet Beaujolais Nouveau 'Bojo Le Clown' 2023

The reputation of Beaujolais Nouveau is being transformed by a new generation of talent following in the footsteps of natural wine godfather Jules Chauvet. Farmed without chemicals and made with just as much care as their Cru Beaujolais bottles, these Nouveau wines have a freshness and purity of fruit only found in the best Gamays.

After apprenticing at Domaine Paul Janin in Moulin-à-Vent, Philippe Viet established his own domaine in Villié-Morgon in 2019, where he farms 5ha of 50-year-old vines across lieu-dits in Régnié, Fleurie, and Morgon. His wines offer sensual floral aromatics and juicy characteristics on the palate, and Nouveau ‘Le Clown’ is no exception.
