Patrick Piuze Petit Chablis 2021

- Inventory on the way
In 2000, Quebec-born Patrick Piuze started a one-month internship at Olivier Leflaive’s Chablis-based négociant thinking he might soon return to his wine bar in Montreal. Twenty-two vintages later and Patrick is still in Burgundy, making his name with a stunning array of Chablis lieu-dit bottlings.
Having worked with Jean-Marie Guffens of Verget and later as cellar master for Jean-Marc Brocard, Patrick established his own négociant operation in 2008, tapping his close connections to source exemplary fruit from across Chablis, including eleven 1er Crus and six Grand Crus – many of which are farmed by shareholders in his domaine.
Steely and refined, Piuze’s 2021s showcase all there is to like about classic Chablis and will appeal to those on the quest to find top-quality artisanal white Burgundy.
From a site next-door to Grand Cru Preuses and above Vaudesir. Fresh and vibrant with crisp green apple and lime zest. Nothing Petit about this.
