Lulu Vigneron L'Etoile QV d'Etoiles 2019

Barely two decades old, Ludwig Bindernagel’s Lulu Vigneron estate is one of the Jura’s most exciting newcomers, producing long-lived, traditional wines of charm and delicacy. The signature white from Ludwig – former architect and one-time student of natural wine legend Julien Labet – is a Chardonnay and Savagnin blend from the tiny L’Etoile appellation. Topped up and aged for 33 months on its lees, it is delicate, yet intensely flavourful, its richness lifted by crackling acidity and a saline finish.
