The ‘gateway bottle’ for many-a-wino getting into natural juice, Jean Foillard's Morgon is a stalwart at Noble Rot: ripe and brooding - a different beast altogether from simpler Nouveau - it has probably converted more to the natural church than any other bottle. "Burgundian-style Gamay" might be a slightly lazy and overused description of late, but with velvety texture and pure vivid fruit, you get the idea.
