Michelle Aubery-Laurent's Domaine Gramenon produces distinctly Mediterranean wine, but with a northern Rhone feel. L'Emouvante - a relatively new cuvee - comes from the same biodynamic Syrah vines as La Sagesse, at 350m above sea level. Gutsy and, at the same time, svelte, it shows complex black fruit and a smoky, salty mineral edge.
