The juice, the whole juice, and nothing but the juice. ‘Divay’ tastes like the love child of Claus Preisinger’s ‘Puszta Libre’ and Julien Sunier's masterful Fleuries. And we love it.
Léah Anglès started working at Philippe and Nathalie Gard’s Coume del Mas in 2014, before completing her oenology degree in Montpellier. Now given carte blanche by Philippe to produce her own cuvée, Léah works with some of the domaine's magnificently old, low-yielding Grenache vines at the foothills of the Pyrenees.
Fermented in stainless steel using whole bunches and a portion of dry stalks, 'Divay' delivers silkiness and transparency and just enough pull from taut tannins. Lifted and ethereal, its gorgeous aromas of strawberries and wildflowers seem to levitate above the glass.
Your spring thirst-quencher? Look no further.
