Bret Brothers Mâcon-Villages 'Terroirs du Mâconnais' 2019

The idea behind Jean-Philippe, Jean-Guillaume & Marc-Antoine Bret's 'Terroirs du Mâconnais' is to make a high-quality, negociant wine from parcels of organic fruit that aren't quite good enough to be bottled on their own - so what you get is a blend of barrels of Viré-Clessé 'La Verchère', Saint-Véran 'En Combe', and Pouilly-Fuissé 'En Carementrant'. It's soft and rounded, with juicy pear and citrus fruit flavours, and refreshing acidity - classy, good value white Burgundy.
