The name Bernard Moreau has become practically synonymous with Chassagne-Montrachet and as a domaine known for its wines of purity and focus. Bernard's sons, Alex and Benoit Moreau, are now jointly at the helm and split their roles between the cellar and 14 hectares of prime vineyards respectively. Silky and seductive with dense white fruit, gentle toasty oak and some struck match reduction, this village-level wine always hits well above its 'humble' classification.
